Record Rain Moved East With Severe Storms

Remember the record rainfall from late Monday? Well those same storms we were tracking and had the potential to be severe moved east.
As they moved east through portions of Pennsylvania and New York, they remained severe.
Multiple funnel clouds, damaging winds and hail were reported throughout northern and central portions of Pennsylvania. One of the potential tornadoes caused extensive damage to a nursing home near Erie, PA.

Another one of the numerous funnel clouds was actually spotted near Meteorologist Ryan Belz's hometown. So it is always important to be weather aware because these storms showed potential for this as they moved through our neck of the woods.
