Wildly Warm & Windy Wednesday

It's going to be a wildly warm and windy Wednesday. Highs today will be well above average. Our average high temperature should be in the upper 60s. As for the winds, they will be sustained out of the S 15-25mph.
We will top out in the low to mid 80s this afternoon under partly to mainly cloudy skies.

Not only will winds be sustained S 15-25mph, but they will also be gusting upwards of 35-40mph.

A cold front will move into the area late tonight and into early Thursday. Expect showers and thunderstorms with the front. Some of the storms may be strong with gusty winds and heavy rain. The Severe Weather Prediction Center has us under a marginal risk for sever weather.

As the front slides through, temperatures will fall off. We should hit our high around midnight (just before the front moves through) in the upper 60s. As you can see temperatures in front of the front will be in the mid 70s still at midnight, while behind the front some locations will drop down into the 50s.

It will be a terrific Thursday with some sunshine is expected during the morning and afternoon before more showers and storms arrive going into Friday.
