It seems like I'm the only Stateline resident who's sad to see our "winter" end in Rockford (I love winter recreation). But for the majority of us who are loving this almost summer-like warmth in March, here is a list of good AND bad things that come with the unseasonably warm weather across the eastern 2/3rds of the US.
Another thing I thought of today that could be a negative -- and Eric Nefstead could have even mentioned it this weekend -- is the fact that the early blooming of trees and plants might set them up for a killing freeze later.
In the meantime, however, I plan to soak-up the sunshine! --TS
