Easter Sunday Weather
High pressure today will bring sunny skies but also a few chills with it this afternoon. Low pressure is currently developing across the Rockies this morning and will lift northeast into Canada by Saturday. As it does a weakening cold front will slide through late Saturday evening. Moisture return ahead of the front remains fairly limited and with the low well into Canada shower activity should remain scattered. High pressure will build in early Sunday with winds increasing from the west/northwest. A few showers may still be lingering to the east of Rockford early Sunday. Temperatures will start in the upper 30s and rise into the low 60s during the afternoon.
