A Frosty Night... then a Nice Warm up for the Rest of the Easter Weekend

That sprawling Canadian high pressure the caused a widespread freeze across the midwest last night is moving southeast across Michigan tonight, and will reach Ohio by Saturday morning.  The Full Pink Moon will illuminate skies across the Stateline tonight as temperatures drop back into the low to middle 30's setting the stage for areas of frost  by late evening through the overnight.  With the high pressure continuing east on Saturday, and a front approaching from the west, the sunny skies of the early morning will give  way to mostly cloudy contitions in the afternoon.  The southerly winds will warm temperatures into the middle 60's by late afternoon.  There is very limited moisture feeding into this next system, so only sprinkles or light rain showers will be possible by late afternoon into the early evening.  The front will continue rapidly off to the east, and skies will clear after midnight.  It will be breezy on Easter Sunday, but still mild with a high in the low 60's. Strong low pressure will traverse southern Canada on Sunday setting up a fairly tight pressure gradient between the low which will be over the St. Lawrence River Valley by early Monday, and a strong Canadian ridge of high pressure stretching southward out of Canada into the central plains.  Air will pour southward out of Canada on Monday dropping temperatures back into the low 50's Monday with a brisk northerly wind.  The colder weather will settle into the Stateline for most of next week with lows dropping close to frost and freezing levels once again during the late night hours.
