The light rain that fell Saturday afternoon and evening will continue to move east overnight. Skies will clear and temperatures will fall into the upper 30s by Sunday morning. High pressure moves in during the afternoon making for a fairly nice Easter Sunday. If you're heading out for an early service you'll want the jacket, but by the afternoon temperatures should rise into the lower 60s.
Behind the cold front sustained west/northwest winds will be around 15-20 mph with gusts reaching 30 mph. That combined with the dry air mass expected with the high pressure could cause an increased fire risk during the afternoon. As a precaution, a Fire Weather Watch has been issued for most counties in Illinois and all counties in southern Wisconsin. You may be asking yourself..."What does this mean?" Basically, if you're trash becomes full from the family gathering wait until next week to burn it or hold on trying to do any controlled burns.
