Significant Warm Up in Sight

If you thought summer was over as seen by these mild temps, think again.  For weeks, the jet stream--fast winds in the upper levels of the atmosphere that divide air masses--had us in the cool sector with temps staying consistent in the upper 70s to low 80s.

But by next week, expect the jet stream to lift north and put us in the warm region once again.  This will allow conditions to really heat up.

Monday, temps will inch towards the upper 80s and by Tuesday, we'll hit 90 degree mark for the first time in 32 days! - MT
