Wind chill advisories in place for the entire Stateline starting at midnight and lasting til 11am Monday. Actual air temps will dip close to 10 below zero and due to a breeze out of the northwest at 5-10 mph, conditions will feel more like -20° to -30°. And we're not alone with the cold: parts of five states around the upper Midwest are under the same advisories we are.
It's the pattern we've grown accustom to all season long: wavering back and forth between the Arctic chill and snowy winter wonderland. In fact, nearly 2/3 of all days since December 1st, have had at least a dusting of snow. Even more shocking when looking back at this season, we haven't gone more than 3 days in a row without at least a trace amount of snow! That pattern will continue as we head into midweek. More details on that to come in future posts. - MT
