
Well, that's because there's no snow on the ground if you head south of the Stateline. Here at home, we have over a foot of snow still on the ground in some spots. Luckily, daytime highs above freezing will slowly diminish that snow pack, but we're unable to get well above average with our temps because of how much is on the ground. It cools the surface and causes an "ice box" effect. If we didn't have snow on the ground we probably could have gotten near 50° on Friday. -MT
