Weekend Outlook: Humidity on the rise

Once again there remains a slight chance for an isolated thunderstorm developing this afternoon with the heating of the daytime.  Temperatures today will be just a couple degrees warmer than Thursday with highs right around 85°.

Looking ahead to the weekend and it looks like the humidity will be on the increase as dew points rise between 65° and 70°.  Other than an outside threat for a thunderstorm Saturday, skies should remain partly cloudy with temperatures reaching 87° with a heat index right around 90°.  By Sunday, the humidity will really rise even if skies remain generally cloudy.  Temperatures will once again stay in the upper 80s but the dew point will be higher which will cause the heat
index to rise between 91°-93°.  There will be the possibility of a thunderstorm Sunday afternoon and evening and the threat for rain will remain in the forecast through the middle of next week.
