Temperatures rise through dawn as clouds roll in Friday morning

Once again, the mercury fell below zero Thursday night, but cloud cover rolling in from the west has allowed the temperature to rise a bit this morning.  Looks like the record low for this morning, which was -7° set back in 1962, will remain as temperatures fell to -5° around Midnight.

Temperatures will continue to rise through the morning with winds shifting around to the southeast. Wind chills, however, will stay below zero through early afternoon.
