Big Cool Down Headed our Way

Temperatures this morning started at 60°, which were our high temperatures today, and have now fallen into the low 50's because of the cold front that passed this morning. That is where our temperatures will stay today. We get a secondary cold front pushing through on Thursday evening and that will bring even colder air to the Stateline. High temperatures will only warm into the mid 40's on Thursday, and 40° on Friday. But on Saturday and Sunday temperatures will struggle to warm past the low 30's! With our next low pressure system, which is currently in the Gulf of Alaska, reaches our area, we do have the potential for our first accumulating snow! It is still too early to say how much snow we will get, however 1-2 inches look like a good bet. Either way, you'll want to be prepared for difficult driving conditions Friday evening and Saturday morning! The First Warn Weather Team will continue to track the system and keep you updated!
