'Gales of November Came Early': The Sinking of the S.S. Edmund Fitzgerald 40 Years Ago Today

November 10th, 1975 the S.S. Edmund Fitzgerald took its final voyage on Lake Superior.  Still to this day, considered the largest shipwreck on the Great Lakes.  It's believed the 729 foot vessel broke apart in the gales of November.  29 men lost their lives that day.
