A Beautiful Weekend with Rain to Follow

You could not have asked for better weather to start the weekend as we hit around 50° this afternoon and got lots of sunshine.  Not only has it been a great start to the weekend, but a great start to March as well.  March 1st last year did have the mid 50's, but it had rain.  Overall, this start to March is much better, getting sunshine the first few days, and temperatures near 50°.

As we head into the night our temperatures will cool quickly due to the clear skies, allowing us to hit the mid 30's after 7pm, and then eventually the upper 20's during the overnight.

As we head through the rest of the weekend, this high pressure system will stay dominate over our area, keeping our skies and allowing the sunshine to stay!

Along with that, we've got a low pressure system that'll keep the warm air flowing into our area, allowing Sunday to be very similar to what we had today; sunshine and warm temperatures.  However, the warm inflow will allow temperatures to be a little warmer on Sunday; around 53° during the afternoon.

You'll want to enjoy the nice weather while you can, because that low pressure system will bring a cold front through our area on Monday, allowing for some showers.

The low will also bring a wintry mix into our area on Tuesday, before cooling our temperatures into the low to mid 30's for highs during the middle of next week.  However, amidst those colder temperatures we'll be able to get some sunshine, which should make the brisk temperatures more manageable.

Temperatures will stay cooler through the end of the week, slightly warming up as we head into next weekend.
