Snow Showers Continue Tuesday Evening

Scattered snow showers continue over much of northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin Monday evening, mixing in with light rain showers at times.

The light snow will continue through the evening, roughly 8pm, before turning mostly cloudy overnight.  There are still a few flurries that may fly during the overnight, but the bigger story will be the increasing wind.

North winds will increase after 10pm, gusting as high as 25 mph through Wednesday morning.  Overnight lows will fall into the low 20's with wind chills falling into the single digits by morning.  Gusty winds will continue through the afternoon which will hold afternoon highs in low 30's and wind chills in the teens.
