A FLOOD ADVISORY has been issued for northwest Boone, Ogle and Winnebago counties until 5pm this evening. Radar rainfall estimates have indicated that between one and two inches of rain have fallen with the thunderstorms that have already moved through. Minor flooding was occurring as trained spotters in Rockford have reported several inches of standing water on some streets. With additional thunderstorms possible this afternoon and evening, it is likely the flooding will continue.
