Light snow has begun to fall through central and western Iowa this morning with a trough of low pressure extending up through Minnesota. Even though there are a few light radar returns showing up across the area most of it isn't making it to the ground. The mid-levels of the atmosphere are still fairly dry and this should keep most of the region dry through this afternoon. As we do head into this afternoon there could be a few sprinkles or light shower that sneak by, especially off to the west, but overall look for a generally cloudy day.
