The first wave of showers has moved out and we're kind of in a lull right now as the second low develops in the southwest. While a little under a tenth of an inch fell this morning, some may have recorded higher amounts, we'll likely total about a half to maybe three quarters inch by late tonight before the precip changes over to snow. Closer to an inch could be found in spots that do develop heavier rainfall with a few embedded thunderstorms.
While we currently aren't under any type of flood watch/warning/advisory, there are several that have been issued further south through the lower Mississippi and Ohio River Valleys. Flooding from storms last week combined with the potential to see over two inches this evening and tomorrow will only likely increase the flooding that has been occurring.
