Monday's storms and heavy rain have passed, but a few lingering showers will still be present early Tuesday morning. Any leftover rain will move east by mid-morning with skies remaining cloudy into the afternoon.
Temperatures both Sunday and Monday made it into the middle and upper 80's ahead of a cold front that cleared the Stateline early Tuesday morning. We were steady in the 60's during the overnight, but quickly fell into the 50's once the front passed. It will be hard to recover with temperatures this afternoon, especially if cloud cover lasts throughout the day. Even cooler air is expected towards the end of the week with highs possibly not making it out of the 50's for Thursday and Friday.
