First Warn Weather Team

Good afternoon everyone -- Meteorologist Chris Saindon here with a brief update on the forecast for this afternoon/evening. Storms are starting to pop-up well west and south, but I anticipate local area development of..at the very least..isolated showers and a few gusty thunderstorms by this evening. The severe risk is lower than yesterday a bit..but one step outside will tell you the airmass is QUITE humid and and at least the surface warm-sector // an area typically southeast of a warm-front, low pressure, and developing cold fronts/drylines to the west // is already in-place and ready to support potentially vigorous thunderstorm development.
