The heavy rain is also bringing concerns to some local rivers that could crest at minor flooding stages. A few local rivers still have flood watches and warning placed on them.
One to watch is the Kishwaukee River near Perryville where the river is expected to crest at 12.43 feet which takes it into the minor flooding category which is at 12ft.

The Rock River at Como, Il is also expected to reach flooding stages. The river is forecasted to crest into the moderate flooding category at 11.62ft, the moderate flood stage begins at 11 feet.

Also keeping an eye on the Pecatonica River at Shirland where the river is forecasted to crest just below the minor flooding story at 12.6ft.

The Rock River at both Byron and Dixon are expected to crest in the action stage 11.6ft and 13.6ft.

We get a break from the rain for the rest of the afternoon, but a cold front tracking late tonight into early Thursday will bring more rain to the Stateline.
