Wednesday's high of 59 degrees may not have felt the most pleasant to most but don't worry warmer weather is on the horizon. Just look at the temperatures over the Plains! While we won't be quite that warm Thursday afternoon, Friday's high could possibly break 80 degrees. Impressive considering Wednesday night the overnight low will drop into the upper 30's.
There could be a little patchy frost in outlying areas if the wind calms enough, but most should remain frost free.
Saturday's high won't be quite as warm. A cold front will come through early Saturday morning shifting the warmth further south. The front could also bring with it scattered showers and thunderstorms through the first half of the day.
