A series of cold fronts this week will bring high temperatures down into the 30's by the end of the week and weekend! The first cold front has passed Sunday evening, but little cold air is behind this front and temperatures will warm back into the low 50's for Monday. A second front arrives with another low pressure system Tuesday morning, bringing temperatures down into the 40's Tuesday afternoon and then into the low 30's by Wednesday morning. A third cold front arrives Thursday into Friday and this front could bring a little wintry weather with it Friday afternoon.
But the big story for the week will be the cold! The coldest air mass of the season arrives Thursday with high temperatures tumbling into the low to mid 30's through the upcoming weekend. Overnight lows will also take a hit, falling into the low 20's and even teens a couple nights. The chilly weather looks to stick around through possibly the middle of the month.
