Skies were quick to fill back in with cloud cover late Sunday afternoon
and evening, but will continue to clear from west to east Sunday night.
After several rounds of heavy rain have fallen over the Stateline,
clearing skies and light winds will allow locally dense fog to develop
through Monday morning.
The fog may stick around through mid to even late morning before
eventually lifting into a mostly cloudy sky. Despite high pressure
overhead, the sinking air in the atmosphere may help to 'trap' moisture
near the surface keeping clouds in place. If we end up with a little
more cloud cover during the afternoon temperatures will have a hard time
making it out of the 70s. If, however, clouds do clear enough then
highs will reach the low 80s.
