Impressive storms to the south

It might not have felt like it, but a cold front did pass through the area this afternoon.  Temperatures reached the low 90's across much of the region, but won't be quite as warm Thursday.

Along the cold front this afternoon, thunderstorms quickly developed producing not only severe weather, but very heavy rainfall.  If you looked to the south this evening, you saw quite the beautiful view of towering cumulonimbus clouds!
