May 2015 is the Hottest on Record!

If you've felt like this May has been pretty warm, you'd be right! The average global temperature for May topped the books 1.57°F above the 20th century average. According to NOAA's State of the Climate report, this month's temperature exceeded the record set last year by 0.14°F.










In addition to boasting the warmest temps, this May also happened to be the wettest! The contiguous United States has seen it's wettest May ever.

This month also happens to be the wettest single month since records began nearly 121 years ago.
