Southerly Winds Give Temperatures a Boost

While yesterday was a great day in the Stateline, many of us only saw temperatures in the upper 60's, which is about 10 degrees below where we should be this time of year. But that will change the next few days with temperatures climbing into the low 80's by Thursday. As high pressure slowly slides to the east, winds will shift to the south east today. The southerly winds along with a ridge will help temperatures warm into the low 70's this afternoon. A warm front lifts north late in the afternoon on Wednesday and this will give temperatures another boost into the low 80's by Thursday. But the warm front is associated with a low pressure system, which also brings rain to the Stateline by Thursday. Get out and enjoy the next couple of dry days!
