Country Thunder Forecast

There's nothing better than listening to a good country singer/band on a summer night with a cold drink in your hand.  But when temperatures are expected to soar during an outdoor music festival, safety becomes a big priority.

Country Thunder kicks off Thursday in Twin Lakes, Wisconsin.  Thousands of people will gather on the farm fields to listen to some great country music.  Temperatures during the duration of the festival will be hot, and for some dangerously hot.

An Excessive Heat Watch remains in effect for Southern Wisconsin Thursday and Friday.  High temperatures will climb into the low to mid 90's with the heat index reaching close to 105 degrees both days!  Saturday and Sunday will be hot, but a few storms could also develop ahead of a cold front.  So not only do you have to be mindful of the heat, but the stormy weather too.
