Accumulating Snowfall to End the Week

We had another messy commute this morning thanks to the snow that moves through last night.  We've still got some isolated light snow and flurries pushing through the area, but these will be gone once we get into the afternoon, where skies stay cloudy with temperatures in the upper teens for our highs.

After the remaining snow clears out, this high pressure system will keep us dry until our next round of accumulating snow, which is expected to move in Thursday night.  Until then, we still stay fairly chilly, with temperatures in the upper teens to lows 20's for Wednesday and Thursday afternoons.

This warm front will bring in our next round of snowfall, which will be moving in between 9-10pm Thursday night.  The snow will stay with us through Friday afternoon.  Most of us will get at least 3 inches of snow from that round of snowfall.

We'll get a break from the snow late Friday night into Saturday morning, before another round of accumulating snow moves in Saturday afternoon.  This round will stay with us into Sunday morning, where another 3 inches is possible.

With all the snow moving in these next few days, you'll definitely want to be prepared for school closings and very poor road conditions, especially for the Friday morning commute into work.  Luckily, once the last round of snow moves out Sunday morning, we'll see some sunshine to end the weekend!
