Mother Nature made up for lost time the first nine days of February, bringing us over 16 inches of snow between the 3rd and 11th.
This long stretch of daily snowfall breaks the previous record for number of consecutive days with snow. That was set back in January 1994 where 7 consecutive days recorded measurable snow (at least 0.10" or more).
The pattern for this week is much more quiet and slightly warmer. Although a system towards the middle of the week could bring a little more wintry weather Thursday and early Friday.
