Low Temperatures Sunday Morning

It was cold Sunday morning!  Clearing skies and light winds allowed temperatures to quickly fall into the single digits and low teens for most.  Locally dense fog was also found over parts of northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin, along with a thick frost.

Despite the cold start, temperatures did gain some ground warming into the low 30's area wide.  But under mostly clear skies Sunday evening, temperatures have fallen quickly and that trend will likely continue through the night.  Right now the forecast low sits at 15 degrees, but depending on cloud cover and temperature trends through the evening that number may need to be lowered even further for Monday morning.

Hazy skies were found for much of Sunday afternoon, despite the sunshine.  If skies remain clear, areas of dense fog will be likely once again Monday morning.
