The low pressure system that bought us the high winds today now ranks as the second strongest on record. Bigfork, MN recorded a pressure of 28.20" this afternoon near the low's center. (The lowest pressure recorded in the Great Lakes region continues to be 28.05" on January 26, 1978 during the Great Ohio Blizzard.) This low will remain strong on Wednesday, providing another day of high winds across the Stateline and most of the Great Lakes region. --TS
