Thursday morning NOAA released its 2010/2011 Winter Outlook. A moderate to strong La Nina will be the dominant climate factor influencing much of the weather across the U.S. this winter season. Typically during a La Nina season the weather can vary more but look for above average precipitation across the northern Plains and in the Pacific Northwest while below average precipitation and above average precipitation throughout the south. For us, we could end up seeing above average snowfall during this winter!
