Pattern shift coming

The humidity will return the next two days before a series of cool fronts come through and help pull down cooler weather across the Midwest and Great Lakes.

Temperatures into the weekend will rise into the middle and upper 80s before a cold front comes through Sunday afternoon.  The jet stream will undergo a change from the persistent ridge anchored across the center of the country to the ridge now centered in the southwest and a trough across the Great Lakes.  This will allow cooler, less humid, air to spill into the Stateline beginning early next week.  Temperatures for once will fall below average with highs nearing 80° only.  If we don't see much sunshine during this time we may even stay in the upper 70s!
