The high temperature today at the Rockford Airport was just 66 degrees. That's 13 degrees below our average high, and tied for the 4th coolest Labor Day on Record. (As stated previously by meteorologist Candice King, we also hit 66 degrees on Labor Day of 1909 and 1994.)
Tomorrow will be slightly warmer by mid-afternoon, with a little less wind. However, it'll still be almost 10 degrees below average with highs struggling to reach 70.
