Feeling Like Fall

A ridge of Canadian high pressure will be the dominant weather feature for the Stateline for the next several days.  Tonight it extends north/south through centers in northeastern North Dakota and Valentine Nebraska. It is feeding cool air into the mid west from Canada.  Skies will become mostly clear later tonight, and the temperature will drop into the upper 40's. On Monday and Monday night it will be unseasonably cool under mostly clear skies. The high on Monday will only be around 67 degrees, and the low on Monday night will be in the middle 40's. Skies will be sunny from Tuesday through Thursday with afternoon highs in the low to middle 70's.  Low temperatures at night will range from the middle 40's to the low 50s. There will be a slight chance of rain showers later in the week possibly related to the remnants of what was Tropical Storm Lee.  At of this time no significant precipitation is expected from Thursday night through next Sunday.
