* TIMING... A COLD FRONT WILL SWEEP ACROSS THE REGION THURSDAY
AFTERNOON WITH WINDS INCREASING OUT OF THE NORTHWEST BEHIND
THE COLD FRONT. STRONG WINDS ARE EXPECTED TO CONTINUE THROUGH
AT LEAST EARLY FRIDAY MORNING...BEFORE WEAKENING SLIGHTLY BACK
BELOW WIND ADVISORY CRITERIA.

* WINDS...SUSTAINED WINDS ARE EXPECTED TO INCREASE TO 20 TO 30
MPH WITH GUSTS TO 45 MPH ACROSS PORTIONS OF NORTHERN ILLINOIS
AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.
* IMPACTS... STRONG WINDS WILL MAKE DRIVING DIFFICULT...
ESPECIALLY FOR HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES. UNSECURED ITEMS LEFT
OUTSIDE MAY BE BLOWN AROUND. SOME LIGHT DAMAGE TO SMALL TREES
AND LIMBS MAY ALSO OCCUR.
