Labor Day Fun

There's a lot going on this Holiday weekend - and more Friday night football as well! There is an isolated storm chance for the late afternoon and early evening, but not many will see that. Temperatures will be falling into the upper 70's by kickoff, but it will still be muggy out there.

Brews and BBQ also is going on this Saturday in Rockton at Settlers Park. Gates open at 3pm, and it will be a hot start with temperatures at 90° and heat index values into the upper 90's. Temperatures will once again be in the upper 70's by 10pm. There is an very small chance for an isolated storm or two late in the afternoon, but again not many will see it.

By Monday a cold front will be approaching the area. This is going to fire up scattered storms for your Labor Day but there will be a lot of dry time too. Scattered storm chances continue through Wednesday but we dry out again Thursday. Temperatures will drop 20° from 91° on Sunday to 71° on Thursday! Enjoy the heat while it lasts!
