Warm up Through Midweek

After a weekend with temperatures in the upper 60's and low 70's, and overnight lows in the 40's, temperatures this week will rebound back to more summer like warmth. High pressure ridge building to the east will allow for southerly flow, bringing in warm air across the Stateline. With that southerly push temperatures will be able to warm into the low 80's. With high pressure to the east and low pressure building to the north west, a tight pressure gradient will be generated. What that means for us is a strong wind flow and breezy conditions, allowing for winds from the south west at 10-20mph, and gusting up to 30mph. This pattern will stick around through about midweek, with temperatures in the low 80's for highs through Thursday. A cold front approaches Thursday night into Friday morning and will bring showers and storms Thursday night through Friday. Temperatures then dip back into the 70's Friday through the weekend when our winds shift around to the north.
