Colder Air Rushes in Wednesday Evening

Temperatures are quickly falling following the passage of a cold front earlier Wednesday morning.  Highs Tuesday warmed to 53 degrees, only the second time this month the temperature has warmed into the 50's.

Sunshine made a return through most of the afternoon, but clouds are quickly moving in from the northwest and will turn our skies mostly cloudy during the evening.  Temperatures are also falling rather quickly with current temperatures in the 30's, and wind chills as low as the teens.

Winds are also increasing with the arrival of the colder air mass, but should weaken a little during the overnight.  Prepare for a much cooler start Thursday with morning temperatures in the upper 20's and wind chills down near 20 degrees, possibly in the upper teens.  Highs on Thursday will warm into the low 40's.
