Winter Weather Preparedness Week is this week for northern Illinois, yes its getting to be that time of year again! So we'll try to give you tips everyday to help beat the winter weather!

Getting into the middle of November, its a good idea to start getting your winter car kit ready. In the Midwest, we get all kind of weather in the winter. From wind chills around -30°, to blowing snow, and even blizzard conditions, a lot can happen as you're out on the road.

If you get lost, or run of the road and get stuck, here is a list of items to put together for when the snow falls and the temperatures fall to keep you safe!
