It can't be possible! While this next one doesn't look as strong as our midweek snow, the potential is there for some accumulation Sunday and Monday.
We've got a series of clipper systems coming through the Great Lakes this weekend. The first will swing north of the region later tonight and Saturday. This could bring a few flurries with it during the afternoon on Saturday. The second, a little stronger than the first, actually takes more of a southerly track that is similar to the previous storm Tuesday night. That storm, however, came in from the south and was able to gobble a lot of gulf moisture with it. This one is coming in from the northwest and won't have that significant amount of moisture supply. These types of clipper systems, though, have been known to produce a pretty nice accumulating snow in the past. We'll continue to watch this as we head into the weekend, but we will likely add on to our already deep snowpack by Monday night.
