Thursday Afternoon Weather Update

1:00pm Update:  Going forecast still looks on track.  The low this morning was just a little deeper and slightly further to the northwest than last night's model runs.  This may push a few totals across the area closer to the 6" mark, especially to the south of I-88.  We'll continue to monitor the trends of the snow as it's moving through Iowa.  As of right now the only snow showing up at the surface is across northern Missouri, per the surface observations. 

Winter Weather Advisories still continue for Winnebago, Ogle, Lee, DeKalb, Boone, McHenry, Carroll and Whiteside counties from 6pm tonight through Friday morning.
