Looks almost the same

While both Rockford's and Chicago's snow storm Tuesday night were ones to go down in the history book, the pictures of cars stranded on Lake Shore Drive are very similar to the pictures of the 1967 Chicago Blizzard.

Officially Chicago received 20.2" (recorded at O'hare Airport) which ranks it as the third largest in the city's history.  Rockford received 14.3" (recorded at the Chicago/Rockford Int'l Airport) which ranks it as the fourth largest in history!  Absolutely amazing!
