Sorry for the delay -
Moderate snow continues to overspread the region this evening with blizzard and white-out conditions being reported. I've also seen reports of thundersnow through southeastern Iowa, a sign that there is some convection with this system. As we head further into this evening and overnight travel will become dangerous and is not advised. Wind gusts of over 40mph have also been reported helping to create the blowing and drifting along roads, especially in the open and rural locations. Still looking at snow drifts that could reach 7 feet. -CK
