The fall colors across the Stateline have become a lot more noticeable over the last 3-4 days. Cool nights -- including an official low of 33 on Saturday night and most rural locations falling to or below freezing -- have helped the leaves to start their annual change.
According to the map at left, we're right on the cusp of "some color" and "past peak." This is about normal for us, as peak color usually occurs in mid-October.
