Since it's been on the chilly side lately and tomorrow and Thursday's highs will only be in the upper-40s to near 50, I thought people might be encouraged by some warm memories. If you were around in 1953, you might remember that on this date, it was quite warm 58 years ago! The high temperature was 86 degrees, tying a record high that was also set in 1950. This record warmth came amidst a "6-pack" of 80+ degree days. Temperatures also tied or exceeded record territory on the following two days.
