Widely Scattered Showers this Afternoon

Brief, light showers will continue to dot the skies this afternoon and early evening.  Just as we talked about this morning the cold air aloft has generated these showers and due to that very cold air above there may even be a few ice pellets/small hail associated with these.  They shouldn't last too long once the sun sets this evening.

A Frost Advisory has actually just been issued for Winnebago, Boone, Ogle, Lee, DeKalb and McHenry Counties beginning early Friday morning.
