The cold front which passed through overnight has stalled out just to our south, and this will bring a chance for a few showers or storms into the area throughout the day Wednesday and into Thursday morning along the frontal boundary.
Currently there are a few storms moving through the Madison area, and larger clusters of storms moving through northern Wisconsin in places such as Green Bay and Eau Claire due to an upper level front to the north of us. Upper level winds are keeping any storms that develop on a west-east track.
Heat Advisories are still in effect to the south of the frontal boundary, with temperatures still in the upper 90s, and we should see temperatures in the low 90s to the north of the front. Even though we should only see temperatures in the low 90s in northern Illinois, dewpoint temperatures will remain in the upper 60s, near 70, on Wednesday keeping it quite humid.
We should see temperatures in the upper 80s for the rest of the week, before warming back up into the low 90s to start the weekend, and possibly the mid 90s for the start of the next work week.
