I'm sure many of us has caught the "spring fever" bug the past week and a half with temperatures sitting well above average for a good part of April. You may even have thought about getting in the garden. Well, you might want to hold off on that thought at least until the end of the month. Even though it has been fairly mild, the average last freeze for much of Northern Illinois doesn't occur until the end of April/beginning of May.
